Look out for:
Ease of Use – Help with CPR, Realtime CPR Feedback
Reliability, IP rating, Warranty
Purchase Price/ Cost of Consumables
Battery & Pad life
Event Review & updating facility.
Public Access Defibrillators
We strongly recommend siting all defibrillators, where at all possible, externally in unlocked cabinets. All external cabinets need to have a heating system as defibrillators will not work when kept in temperatures below freezing. Below are some examples of cabinets that are available on the market:-
