If you are considering purchasing a defibrillator then there are a few things to look out for.  All defibrillators work in the same way however some are more suited for Public Access use than others.

Look out for:

  • Ease of Use – Help with CPR, Realtime CPR Feedback

  • Reliability, IP rating, Warranty

  • Purchase Price/ Cost of Consumables

  • Battery & Pad life

  • Event Review & updating facility.

Defibrillator Cabinets

We strongly recommend siting all defibrillators, where at all possible, externally in unlocked cabinets. All external cabinets need to have a heating system as defibrillators will not work when kept in temperatures below freezing. Below are some examples of cabinets that are available on the market:-
